Mizoram AYUSH Doctors' Association: A Profile of Service in Mizoram

Established with a commitment to the well-being of the people of Mizoram, Mizoram AYUSH Doctors' Association (MADA) has a formal and recognized presence within the state and at the national level.

Formal Registration and Recognition:

State-Level Registration: In 2010, MADA achieved its initial legal standing by being registered under the Mizoram Societies Registration Act, 2005. This registration was officially recorded with the number MSR 309 on January 14, 2010. This signifies MADA's adherence to the state's regulations for non-governmental organizations and its commitment to operating within a legal framework within Mizoram.

National Recognition: Further solidifying its credibility and broadening its scope, MADA was also registered on the NGO DARPAN portal under NITI Aayog in 2014. This national-level registration was assigned the number MZ/2014/0075352. Registration with NGO DARPAN indicates that MADA meets certain criteria and is recognized by a key policy think tank of the Government of India, potentially facilitating access to government schemes and collaborations.
